This course encourages students to think on their feet and respond to live and self-initiated briefs to solve creative problems.
Students are adaptive thinkers who understand how animation may collaborate with other art forms.
Ravensbourne University uses a mix of practice and theory-based learning, including lectures, seminars, workshops, individual tutorials, and self-directed study.
Students will explore the medium using industry-standard software and will produce an assessed portfolio of creative and professional work.
Animation graduates often work as 3D/2D generalists as well as specialists in areas including concept, modelling, animation and VFX production. Graduates are often employed in film and television, visual effects, advertising, post-production, apps and games.
