It is a great course, as first 2 years I was in Mumbai and the last in London so you get exposure of both cities. The faculty is good, course is industry oriented. Plus it is cheaper compared to completing all 3 years in London as for the 1st 2 years I have to pay fees as per India. These were wonderful years of my life in terms of learning. I was evolved greatly. I would love to go back again for masters there. Not only academics extra curriculum was also joyous.
Course Curriculum :
I loved the ciriculum it is really practical. The faculty is really good. I dont like exams I am more of a researcher. So university does have a good research based coursework. They focus a lot on quality works and they train us for that.
Exams :
You have to pass your class 12th and apply directly. No exams needed. No need of any English language exams, as 1st 2 years are in India only you need to pass the English language in class 12. So this is a good deal. The only thing is you have to pass all the exams inorder to qualify the next.
Placement :
They do have an Industrial Placement year for various programs. You have to find your placement and complete the year in industry. University's careers and employment team helps you on your job finding and prepare you for the needful skills need. You can drop in anytime and ask for help. Personal tutors also help a lot they refer you also if they know someone of your interest. There are a lot of employer meets and career fairs arranged by the university.
Events :
I am so happy that I got this University. The extra curriculum activity just helps you grow. I totally enjoyed the life. Infrastructure is one of the best in UK they have spend millions in making the campus buildings and facilities. It is such a wonderful experience to be there. The atmosphere and ambience is lovely.
Scholarship :
No but there is a scholarship obtion in the final year if your top the class in previous 2, it is of £2000
Faculty :
They are honestly the best you can have. They are well qualified, an ocean of knowledge and very helpful. They encourage us to do our best. They have great experience of the field. Everyone gets a personal tutor and they help a lot.
Hostel :
I lived on campus, facilities were exceptional. You couldn't find this level of hospitality at such economical prices. There are various choice from low to high budget and every option was great compared to anything else outside. They have good shuttle services in an around the town. It was so convenient.
