I have more than 12 years of experience in educational marketing and strategy planning. My expertise includes student recruitment, business development, training, counseling, partnership development, and research & analysis. At the University of Exeter, I am responsible for developing and strengthening working relationships with key stakeholders in India: partner agents, college counselors, the British Council. I am also responsible for driving an informed, data-driven student recruitment strategy for India.

We keep a planned approach towards the students as every student is different

At the University of Exeter, we have a planned approach to student recruitment. We believe that every student is different and hence we have a very customized approach towards each student. In terms of strategy, we perform data analysis to understand our market segment, which helps to identify market potential, and accordingly, we map our key programs and cities. For example, MSc in Data science is very popular in Bengaluru. Thus, we try to maximize our reach with schools and colleges, faculty lectures, webinars for the counselors, etc. At the same time, we always explore and create awareness in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities by visiting schools/colleges, education fairs, etc.

A central objective of all of the programs is to provide insight into the latest thinking

We have a variety of teaching methods. We utilize a range of teaching methods including lectures, seminars, and tutorials. Seminars and tutorials involve an in-depth exploration of the issues covered in lectures as well as allowing you to discuss various concepts and theories, and receive feedback on your written assignments. A central objective of all of the programs is to provide insight into the latest thinking. You will be able to attend a series of research seminars, during which you can discuss and present current research papers.
