This specialized, fully-qualifying law degree provides students with the classic route to training as a legal professional.
It focuses on criminal law and criminal justice, giving you knowledge of how the criminal justice system works, an understanding of crime and its effects on society, and how you as a legal professional can develop strategies to combat or prosecute against it.
Students will study in the dedicated law environment, which includes a mock courtroom, a client interviewing room, and an integrated law library.
Study a range of topics such as Family Law, Issues in Civil Liberties, Substantive Law of the European Union, and Law of Evidence.
Recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board, this course is a qualifying Law degree covering the academic stage of training for solicitors and barristers.

Academic Eligibility:

Students require 120 points from at least two A-levels or equivalent or
BTEC National Diploma/ Extended Diploma at DMM.
Students also require five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics or equivalent.
Alternative qualifications include:
- Pass Access with 30 Level 3 credits at Merit (or equivalent)
- English (Language or Literature) and Maths GCSE required as separate qualifications at grade 4
Students need International Baccalaureate: 28+ Points.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
