UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship

UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship is designed for Indian students planning to pursue postgraduate studies at the university. The scholarship program is applicable for those wanting to study at University of Queensland’s Faculty of Law, Economics, and Business.

India Global Leaders Scholarship amount ranges from 5,000- 20,000 AUD.
The selection of recipients is based on academic records, career objectives, and extra-curricular achievements.
No separate application form is required for the UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship program.

Students of both semester I and semester II are eligible for the scholarship program. The UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship application deadline for the same is November 30 and May 30 respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

The guidelines of UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship states that an eligible candidate is one who

is an Indian citizen and currently residing in India.
possesses an offer letter for any course at the faculty of Economics, Business, and Law.
Has a consistently good academic record.

Note: Students must not already be pursuing a program in an Australian institution. Those studying English in Australia are still eligible to apply for the scholarship.

Application Process

There is no separate application form for UQ India Global Leaders Scholarship. However, to be considered for the scholarship, you must have an acceptance letter confirming admission at University of Queensland.

Apart from the acceptance letter, you have to provide the following supporting documents:

An updated cv/resume describing your academic qualifications and professional experience
Statement of Purpose written in about 1000 words, addressing the following subjects:
- The reason for your interest in the chosen degree program at UQ.
- Personal goals and professional ambitions.
One reference letter in English from your teacher or a LOR from an employer.

Both first and second-semester students are eligible to apply for the scholarship program. The application deadlines for India Global Leaders Scholarship 2021 are:

Selection Process
