Idaho International Tuition waiver

Idaho International Tuition waiver is presented to incoming as well as new transfer international students at the University of Idaho.

Students who wish to start their studies in the UG program offered by the University of Idaho are eligible.
The amount of waiver offered to the recipients depends upon their GPA scores from high school.
- Higher the GPA score, the higher is the amount of tuition fee waiver.
A maximum of 8000 USD is offered as a waiver amount and it can be renewable for up to 4 years.
Recipients have to maintain a 2.5 CGPA to continue receiving the grant.

Candidates must complete an online application in the form of a 500-1000 word essay or video on the topic given by the university.

This must be completed before January 03, 2022, to be considered for the Idaho International Tuition waiver.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants who want to secure the Idaho International Tuition waiver must take admissions at the University of Idaho. Apart from that, applicants have to fulfill the eligibility criteria listed below:

The applicant must be an incoming international student.
Must be entering in any UG courses offered by the University of Idaho.
Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 from high school.
Must have attended secondary school from outside the US.
Demonstrate interest and personal initiative in activities involving intercultural learning and exchange.

Application Process

Candidates who wish to obtain the Idaho International Tuition waiver must complete an external application form available online on the University of Idaho website.

Candidates must complete the #YouAreWelcomeHere Application form along with details in the form.
They have to submit a personal statement of about 500-100 words or a 2-5 minute video answering the below question.

“Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at the school you are applying to?

Applicants must submit the complete application form at ipo@uidaho.edu by January 03, 2022.

Selection Process

After the application process, next comes the selection process. The selection committee will take into consideration the GPA scores of the students and their responses in the application form.

Recipients of the Idaho International Tuition waiver will be notified about the same.

Grant Details

The University of Idaho provides financial support to international students by offering the Idaho International Tuition waiver.

Incoming freshmen and new international transfer students who wish to begin their UG studies at the university are eligible.
Application form should be submitted before the deadline ends to be considered for the same.
The tuition fee waiver is also offered to the Tuition fee waiver up to 8000 USD is offered to the recipients depends upon their GPA scores in high school.

The tuition waiver is also offered to new international transfer students depending upon their GPA scores. A maximum of 4000 USD is offered and can be renewed for 4 years.

International Tuition waiver is renewable if the recipient is able to maintain a 2.5 CGPA at the University of Idaho.
