Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship

The Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship is awarded to full-time students who will be enrolled in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Business Administration-Accounting in the upcoming fall semester.

  • Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship is open to international students from around the world.
  • An amount of up to 700 CAD is granted to the eligible full-time students.
  • Two Management Accounting scholarships will be awarded to continuing undergraduate students.
  • Eligible Haskayne School of Business students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.

Preference will be given to students with demonstrated community involvement who have expressed interest in becoming a Chartered Professional Accountant immediately after graduation.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants of any nationality can apply for Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship. They just need to fulfill the following requirements:

  • Be a continuing undergraduate student, entering Year 4 of Haskayne School of Business.
  • Studying a full-time Haskayne UG degree in Accounting.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 in previous years.
    • Completed a minimum of 24 units of academic coursework
    • Completed or are enrolled in ACCT 323 - Introductory Managerial Accounting or ACCT 361 - Cost Accounting.
  • Successfully completed the previous Fall and Winter sessions as a full-time student.

Note: Applicants must not be a recipient of any other CPAEF award in that academic year.

Applicants must apply for the Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship to be considered. They must apply online for the same.

How to Apply for the Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship?

  • Step I: Access Student Centre in myUofC portal available at the University of Calgary Official website.
  • Step II: In the Student Centre section, click on the "My Financials" page.
  • Step III: Click on the Awards & Scholarships section, and click on "Apply for Undergraduate Award"s.
  • Step IV: A pop-up window will open on the screen with a number of applications for the different scholarships. Choose the Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship
  • Step V: Complete all the details of the online scholarship application.
  • Step VI: Send in the required student supporting documents, along with the application and submit it.

Selection Process

Selection for Calgary CPA Education Foundation Management Accounting Scholarship is strictly based on the academic merit of the applicants.

Preference will be given to the following students:

  • Students with the ability of extra-curricular activities.
  • Students who will demonstrate leadership quality.
  • Students who have completed or are enrolled in ACCT 323 - Introductory Managerial Accounting or ACCT 361 - Cost Accounting.
  • Students with demonstrated community involvement.

The recipient must not be a recipient of any other CPAEF award in that academic year. This scholarship is offered annually on the basis of academic merit to continuing undergraduate students showing interest in an Accounting concentration.
