Eligibility Criteria

The Faculty of Mathematics at the Waterloo University does have any elaborate eligibility for Women in Mathematics Graduate Scholarship. Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students, present on a Canadian study permit, are all eligible for the scholarship. The only eligibility requirements for this scholarship for women in mathematics are:

  • Must be a female candidate beginning a Masters or Doctorate program at the University of Waterloo.
  • Must have a first-class standing, i.e., be academically meritorious.
  • Must have applied for an eligible program in Mathematics.
    • Applied Mathematics
    • Combinatorics & Optimization, Computational Mathematics
    • Computer Science, Mathematics for Teachers
    • Pure Mathematics
    • Statistics & Actuarial Science
  • Must have secured admission at the University of Waterloo, for the Fall Term.

Application Process

Since Waterloo Women in Mathematics Graduate Scholarship falls under the category of the university's internal award, there is no additional application form required.

Selection Process
