Remarks :

I did not take an entrance exam to join GITAM Visakhapatnam, I joined through recommendation but there is an admission test and the application fee is Rs.1200/- and I have joined Computer science and engineering and the fees for the course for B.tech CSE is 272200 in 2019.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it has great opportunities and lot of paths to explore and a lot to learn. The faculty teach very well and they do an excellent job in teaching the faculty-student ratio is like 1:60 and the faculty takes care of each student. Exams were conducted every 6 months and the difficulty to pass was intermediate.

Internships Opportunities :

There are lots of internships brought by the college and also different internship opportunities offered by various companies brought by the college. Companies like TCS, and Infosys brought internships. Some paid internships are also offered.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for the campus from the 7th semester and there are a lot of companies that offer placements like TCS, Accenture, Hexaware, Amazon, etc. The average package is 5LPA and the Highest package is 46LPA offered by Amazon. About 70 per cent of students go to placements and the remaining to go for higher studies. I am going to join MBA after getting my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is good but the amount of fees is very high and the hikes in fees and other costs are very rapid and too high, which makes it difficult for the students to pay the fee and cost to study.

Campus Life :

There are a lot of fests happening and Social life, clubs and everything is very versatile and improving. There is a lot of different type of clubs and all the books and necessary journals are available in the libraries. Classrooms consist of all kinds of amenities and there are all kinds of sports and extracurricular activities on campus there are also anime clubs, basketball clubs, etc.

Hardwork gets result

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester (3-2 ) eligible for campus placements more than 100 companies visited the campus and the 1200 students placed in 2022 and 2023 placements going on. The average package is 3-5Lakhs per annum the highest package is more than 12lakhs more than 70% get placement after getting the degree I will do a job

My Btech life review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course computer science and engineering can get placed in top companies there will be very bright future to that course. The faculty is very professional in teaching and the students are from high grades. The teaching faculty like MTech, MBA. The timely exams difficult to pass because we get 4 sets to write exams, so students can't even copy.

College life is most memorable

Placement Experience:

You can't expect any on-campus jobs here, the placement levels are very low. Only start-ups and local companies visit here however you can try different off-campus jobs. The highest off-campus package is 12 LPA and here the percentage of placements is too low as it is a tier 3 college. So I recommend if you choose your career or expect a high package, then this will be not for you.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am interested in robotics, so I chose Robotics as my mainstream of study. The faculty and student ratio is also very good and the maximum faculty are graduated and have a Ph.D. The difficulty to pass the exams is moderate.
