College Review

Remarks :

You have to appear for IMU CET or MCET( MAHARASHTRA CET) to take admission to MANET. Eligibility: 60% and above PCM & 50% above in English. Application form: CET EXAM PORTAL & MANET OFFICIAL WEBSITE.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.Tech in Marine engineering is 4 years. I choose Marine engineering as I was interested in the mechanical side of the marine field. We have a sufficient faculty to students ratio here. Faculties are well-qualified and experienced, a sailor who has done years of sailing share their first-hand experience along with their knowledge. Exams will be conducted in two parts in each sem: mid-term exams and end-term exams and it's fairly tough and needs good preparation to clear them.

Placement Experience :

Placements are good for both courses. Various companies visit MANET for placements from the 3rd sem onwards for B.Sc. and from the 4th sem for B.Tech. Some of the prestigious companies visiting MANET are BW, MAERSK TANKERS, MMSI, CHEVRON, MOL, and SEASPAN.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for B.Tech is 17 lakh and for BSc is 15 lakh as of the latest fee structure. Scholarship eligibility is 90% above the 12th standard. A detailed fee structure is available on the Manet website. Various companies working worldwide visit MANET for placement.

Campus Life :

Campus life is decently good here. A good-looking campus with amazing infrastructure and a perfect balance of structures and environment is maintained. Social life is really good as we get to interact with many people from other colleges on the same campus. Annual fest - PERSONA FEST is held every year. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and an internet connection. Sports activities are well known throughout the state and at the national level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Stating it frankly faculty members are very educated and well-spoken but not that effective. Because they are highly educated some of them even hold PhD degrees but this college does not have an educative environment and sincere students therefore even the faculty get less effective. Exams are only preliminary exams conducted before university exams and the difficulty level is almost the same.
