Remarks :

The admission to kiet group of institutions is done by two processes which are a direct method and a counselling method. I joined the college through counselling done by aktu University on the basis of Jee's mains rank cut-off being released.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the CSE program as it is the top branch in our college. The course curriculum is according to aktu University. It includes five main subjects during the first two semesters and an additional skill subject in both. the faculty members are a bit strict considering the attendance policy of the college but teach well to get a good cgpa and further, it is dependent on the student's effort.

Internships Opportunities :

Multiple domestic as well as international internship opportunities are made available by the college for the students, and most of them are provided with stipends. The projects are given on the speciality of the type of company providing the internship

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placement by the third year. Many companies visit the college the data is available on the college's official website. The highest package this year is 48 LPA and the average package is 7.5 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for college is 138499 approx and the hostel fee is 121000 (96000 for NONAC) in the first year and in my opinion, fees are a bit high. By the second year fees will be reduced to 1.2 lakhs approx. The scholarship opportunities will be given to students on the basis of their academic performance. Fee waiver seats are also available as a need-based financial option as well as JEE Rank basis. Less job/ internship opportunities in the first year.

Campus Life :

Annual fest - prastuti (in March) Tech fest - INNOTECH (in November)/ college is planning more tech fest. There is a large variety of books and journals available in the KIET central library. ACs are available for two to tackle NCR heat waves in the classroom. Multiple sports facilities are available. Some of the largest student-run communications here are innogeeks. DSC. TEDxKIET, kavyanjali, Mycin, deveup, FOSSCU-K.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms in hostels are equipped with ACs but extra 25000 rupees fees is required to avail AC facilities. The rooms of one first year hostel (CV RAMAN) are equivalent to high paid flats but other hostels are have typical hostel room vibes. Meal is offered in hostel mess. The menu is fine, but meal quality is okish. Hostels are available on first come first grab basis and registration option is available at time of admission. Many PG options are available in the locality.

Colleges provide campus placements in fact so many students get placed in big companies with high salaries. So many companies visited my college they took a large number of students from my college. I don't know the actual highest package but I think it was 20-25 lakh. An average package is 2.5 - 4 lakh.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, you will be eligible for doing an internship in companies like HCL, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, BYJU'S, etc. The placement of this college is very good. Like if you are in any branch of this college you don't have to worry about placement. Because mass recruiters also come to this college to give a package of 5 LPA. There are around 1500 students in this college and the offers made by are 1735. The college placement is 100%.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Amazon offers 44.14Lpa to 26 students in 2022. Cisco - 14 selections in 2022. Walmart - 6 selections in 2022. Highest package- 44.14 Lpa Average package - 6.5 Lpa - 9 Lpa (in Cse branch) 92% of students get placed while 100% of students placed in Cse branch. My plan is to work in a product-based company after getting my degree.
