Remarks :

The admission is through JOSAA and your rank in JEE Advanced and the cut off for particular categories. There are reservations available for non-general people based on the quota. The process of admission is 6 rounds and your final allotment shall be your branch in which you shall be admitted. We can opt out in the middle as well once we get out of the desired branch in one of the rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose chemical engineering since I was inspired by its scope of it in the future. The faculty: student ratio is 6:100. The faculties are well qualified and hold atleast a PhD in their respective fields. The exams and the frequency completely depends on the professor. And it is mostly based on what is taught in class.

Class Size : 115Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

A student would be eligible to sit for an internship in their 5th semester for a 4-year course. More than 100 companies would come with more than 400 offers. around 35% get placed with internships. There are opportunities to pursue research and interns related to that as well.

Placement Experience :

The student is eligible t sit for placements in their 7th semester. More than 200 companies come for placements with more than 1200 offers. The highest placement is usually for SDE or quant. 70% of the students get placed and the rest take up higher studies and entrepreneurship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees is almost stable and is around 1 lakh per semester. There is a reduction in fees based on the category and the financial status of the family. There was a hike in the fee since this year due to various reasons.

Campus Life :

We have a cultural fest called Saarang which happens in the month of January. A tech fest, Shaastra, in the month of January. A entrepreneurial fest, E-Summit, in the month of March. All the course related books are available in the library, even the e-copies are available. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and screens. All kinds of sports facilities are available in the sports complex as well as in the hostels. Most of the clubs and social groups are run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

The room has basic facilities of light, a fan, shelves, and a cot. Seperate mess is available near the hostels. The quality of the food is decent. The hostel fee is to be paid which confirms your accommodation in the hostels.

Hostel Fee : INR 35000 per year
