Remarks :

Candidates looking for admission to BE/B Tech must be eligible with 50% aggregate marks in the 10+2 Examination from the approved board. The candidate's selection will be based on the valid score acquired in the UPSEE Entrance Exam under AKTU Btech equivalent from any recognized Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects; and anyone of Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational as optional subjects. B.Tech (Lateral Entry in Second Year) Candidates must have passed a three-year Engineering Diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) or a three-year B.Sc. degree plus having passed the 10+2 exam with mathematics as one subject. The candidate's selection will be based on the valid score acquired in the UPSEE Entrance Exam under AKTU. The UPSEE application forms can be filled out online. Candidates are required to appear in the exam and attend the counselling process. Candidates need to select the preferred college accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Labs and workshops are good. Faculty Students ratio is 1:15 All teachers are highly qualified from IITs & NITs and they are Mtech and PhD holders. They have high knowledge. Their teaching methodology is very good. Even the HOD conducts classes on their subjects. Every teacher helps students. Doubt solving facility has been provided by the faculty other than the lecture time. Regular sessions for class tests and vivas for labs have been taken and pre-university exams have been taken before the final semester examinations. Semester exams are not difficult. If you have given proper attention to your exams before few days before the exam. The passing percentage is 95%.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship opportunities are not good. We have to reach the company by ourselves and you have to sharpen our skills on your own no one guide us. In 4th year you will realise you will have to upgrade your coding skill. Even during my graduation, i was surprised that suddenly I will have to study quant and coding.

Placement Experience :

Almost 98% of students got placed and students are able to sit on interviews from the 7th semester. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, TCL, Infosys, etc come for placement drives. The average package is 5 lakh per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Registration Charges @ Rs. 1100/- shall be charged at the time of admission, payable either in cash or DD (separate) in favour of IMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE and your demand draft should be payable at New Delhi. First-year fees-135169/- Second year fees-124019/- Third year fees-127019/- Fourth year fees-128819/ There are various types of scholarship funding available at IMS, Ghaziabad. They offer merit-based scholarships, which means that if a candidate receives an 80 per cent or higher grade point average, he or she will receive a fee reduction of more than Rs 20,000, which is applicable to all UG programmes. They also offer sibling scholarships, which means that if the candidate's sibling has previously studied at any of the three campuses, they will receive a Rs 15,000 discount.

Campus Life :

There is an annual tech fest, cultural fest vibgyor and chakravyuh conducted. Every Friday and Saturday competition are conducted for gk, games, coding etc. There is a library where students can take the books for reading purposes and have to submit them after the given period of time. The library has study materials, books, journals, and national and international magazines. There are sports facilities like table tennis, basketball, cricket, badminton, football, and netball. During my graduation, there was no club.

Hostel Facilities :

•Facilities provided by the hostel room are 2 students can stay in one room the cleaning staff comes regularly. You can take either room without ac or with ac. The food quality is not so good. •Hostel Fee : INR 135000 per year

If you are from a computer background then be assured of 100% placement. A affordable and good college

Placement Experience:

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If I m talking about why I m choosing this course then it's very simple because I m interested in the IT sector. The faculty-student ratio is good its around 12:1. Teachers are qualified and well educated mostly all the teachers have their master's degrees from renowned institutions and the teaching method is also very good they are very interactive in nature. Exams are held regularly and it is not so tough it is easy if you study regularly.
