Harshitha B N's Review On SJB Institute Of Technology - [SJBIT], Bangalore | collegedunia.com

My college experience

Remarks :

I had taken KCET, I got admission through this with a government seat, the admission process was through submitting an application in college and filling it out, application fees were not there, no improvement was needed.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it was interesting, the faculty is enough for the student ratio, all the faculties are well qualified, the exams are regularly done once a month, and the papers are quite standard in order to prepare us to face the difficult papers in exams.

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are given by the college, The company is tied up with our college HR department i.e Ethnotech provides internships to everyone from college, the stipend is also given, and the project is innovative.

Placement Experience :

Placements are quite good, the training is given by the department of HRD from the 1st sem itself, the eligibility occurs in 3rd year, the average package is 3LPA and the highest is 20LPA, and the percentage of placements is 60 - 70%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The feed structure is the same as other colleges, we have good placements, training for the placements are given to us regularly through ethnotech, scholarship is from the government of Karnataka, ssp, and financial assistance is provided.

Campus Life :

The campus is good, libraries are well equipped, all the required books are available at the library, there are no fests that happen, hardly one fest a year, sports are not so prominent, there are dance, drama and song clubs but no use.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this course has not much different from computer science and engineering and it has additional courses for design. The faculty is well-educated and most of the professors are with PhD degrees. The exams are conducted every week and the difficulty level is moderate

Placement Experience:

From the 5th-semester companies start to hire for summer internships, and by end of the 7th, the placement process will almost be over. Samsung, Bosch, and Fidelity these are the companies visited so far for internships, and many more companies are yet to come. The highest package that was recorded last year was 52LPA and the Average for our department is around 7LPA. Mostly all companies that visit our college hire for SDE roles. The placement percentage for our branch is 90%. I am also willing to get placed in good company by the end of my course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to be an engineer that's why I chose this course. Student 21 and teachers 12 it's the ratio. Teachers are very well qualified but lack the experience that's why teachers join our college to get some experience The teaching is good and smart classes are available. Sem exams are conducted after every 4 months and 3 internals are conducted. Its somewhat difficult to pass the exams, If you study a bit you can pass them.
