Remarks :

Back in 2020, The admission process for undergraduates use to be through merit in 12 boards. Every college use to release its specific cutoff. For my course, UT off was as follows:- GENERAL: 96-98 OBC : 94:93 SC: 90-92 ST: 82-87 Eligibility of course: Just you have to match the cut-off released by the college. You can find the application form and all the details regarding application fees, application dates, and dates of first cut-off on its official website ie.www.du.ac.in. Yes, I too got reservation benefits as I belonged to the ST category.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Reason to choose this course: 1. Emerging needs in different sectors 2. Will get to know about so many things including coding, etc. Faculty-student ratio: The ratio was quite good like 9/60. Qualification of the faculty: faculty of Delhi University is high. Teaching method: I personally used to love the teaching method, they use to make us updated with new software, and newly introduced technologies and used to relate with the curriculum. Term exams were easy and used to be organized on time.

Internships Opportunities :

DLF , IDBI Banking , Loads and shares , Amazon Summer internship . Roles offered : Data base management handling , editing codes , outreach department Many other companies use to come and they offer many internship opportunities ( paid and non paid ).

Placement Experience :

From 4 semesters onwards, Students are eligible for campus placements. They can get themselves registered for the campus recruitment cell of their respective college. Every year some 40 to 60 companies use to visit colleges like Load and share, DLF, IDBI Banking, Narrow, DELL, ASUS, HDFC Banking, etc. The highest package offered: 21 lacks per annum. Average package: 7.5 lacs per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for the curse were: 13k per year ( If you apply for a fee refund than you can get some 7k back too).

Campus Life :

Name of the annual fest: Confluence, which use to get held in APRIL or sometimes December, used to be the star fest and the main attraction of the college, Some celebrities used to be called for the star night, Different societies use to participate and use to showcase their skills. Sports and extracurricular activities on campus: Interdepartmental and intercollege sports events use to be held from time to time, and even teachers use to participate, in Nukkad nataks, Interdepartmental debate competitions.

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities provided: Hostel rooms are actually two-seaters, enough space in that one room to accommodate two people, fully ventilated room, the balcony is also there for 1 floor and 2 floors, two beds, two study tables with attached lights, Two big Almiras.

I choose this course because I was interested in mathematics. There are 60 students in my class of which 10 are girls. My College professor is excellent. most of them are NET-qualified, and some of them have very nice teaching methods.

Because of my interest in geology. There are total of 58 students. Qualification of the faculty is good but teaching methods should be improved. The term exam was just in 2.5 months. Many admissions were late and students are still coming and it's problem.

Student Become eligible for the placement after 4th semester and many companies visit for campus placement. Some of them are Deloitte, Google, Wipro, TCS, and many more. Around 200+ offers were made every year. The highest package is 26 LPA and the Average Package-7LPA. Around 90 percent of student are placed who sits for placement. Many students opt for Higher Education like MBA, MS, etc.
