Remarks :
To be eligible for this course in my branch, students need to score more than 110 in the cut-off marks. The application for the course is available on the website. The admission process is simple, and students can approach the college for scholarships.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The instructors who teach my course are highly qualified, with most holding PhD degrees. The average pass percentage in my batch for all papers is 65%. I chose this course because the future depends on electrical engineers. The student-to-faculty ratio is appropriate, so classes go smoothly without any issues.
Internships Opportunities :
Several companies, including TESSOLVE, KAAR, WIPRO, DELOITTE, and HCL EMBEDDED, offer internship opportunities. The projects offered for internships are the development of face recognition and attendance systems using software, as well as the implementation of smart sensors for car parking.
Placement Experience :
Students are eligible to attend campus interviews from the 5th semester onwards. The companies that have visited my branch include TESSOLVE, KAAR, and HVL EMBEDDED. Over 70% of students have been placed in various companies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure varies among departments, and the software-related departments have higher fees compared to others. The cost of studying is worthwhile. My college offers a scholarship called the Parthasarathy Scholarship to assist students, and it has been of great help to me.
Campus Life :
In my college, each department conducts its own symposium, and in my department, the symposium is quite large, with more than 2,000 participants from other colleges. My college organizes a cultural event every year called Takshasila, which is a grand 3-day affair.
Hostel Facilities :
The mess food is of good quality, but the taste is average. On the other hand, the canteen food is tasty. The hostel and college have medical facilities available at all times. The registration process is simple and students are assigned rooms as per their preferences.
