Best college you can get with MHT-CET !

Remarks :

This is a govt autonomous college, so the admission process is strictly through CAP rounds. No management quota. The college accepts only MHT-CET scores, JEE not valid for admission in VJTI. You generally need to have at least 99.8+ percentile for CS-IT branch ( open category).

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is fairly updated. Faculties are well qualified. Each of them has at least a Ph.D. Term exams are difficult. There are hardly 2-3 students above 10 pointer in the class. There are ample number of TAs available too. Seniors here helps he most. From sports to academics, seniors teach juniors everything. Students and the placements are the best part of the college.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are offered here by many well-known companies including Morgan Stanley, JPMC, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, UBS, Citi, Wells Fargo, Barclays, and many more. The highest stipend offered is 1.5L per month. Most stipends are around 60-70k per month.

Placement Experience :

Best placements in Maharashtra are offered at VJTI ( second to IITB ofc). We become eligible for campus internships in the 5th sem and for campus placements, in the 7th sem. Most people get a Pre-placement offer directly after their internships. Specifically speaking of CS and IT, all 100% are placed this year. The rest of the placements are still going on, with an overall 80% already placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a government college, the fee structure is decided by the DTE itself. College doesn't have any say in it. All of the government scholarships and tons of private scholarships are also available. There Is a dedicated scholarships department for this. On-campus placements are the BEST in VJTI. Except for IITB, VJTI has the best placements in Maharashtra! My class has an average of 16 LPA CTC.

Campus Life :

Due to amazing seniors and a huge legacy, life on the campus is far beyond amazing. 5-6 annual fests, including Technowanza, Pratibimb, and Rangwardhan. Each fest holds sever events, including live concerts , bollywood nights and many events. Classrooms are equipped with WiFi,a smart board, a projector, and a PC. Ample number of Fans and ACs too. From coding elitely to making cars, from debates to building satellites, everything is covered in clubs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor is highly knowledgeable they are very supportive if we find any difficulty from any problem then they help a lot with it. Exams are in every month and final semester exams are there If we study hard then exams are not tough. Negative point is that sometimes faculty say anything bad so it gets irritated.

There are so many placements in college, Even if you missed a college placement you can still secure the same job, just their process is a little bit more complicated, but don't worry you can take the same opportunity. While campus placement involves companies reaching out to you.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in the pre-final semester and are completed before the beginning of the final semester. Everyone is placed somewhere or the other, might or might not receive their dream offer or company, but generally, everyone is able to convert a decent firm's decent offer. BCG, Google, Microsoft, Bain, Mckinsey, Cohesity, Blackrock, Kearney, and Strategy& are a few of the companies that visit regularly. Highest package runs in crores (?4cr/year) for international locations - Hongkong or the US. The highest within India is also close to ?2.5cr, the average package is ~?25LPA. Greater than 95% of students get decent placements. I'll be exploring jobs after the degree, and might go for higher education as well sometime after experiencing a few years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best thing about this college is its teachers. they are helpful in academics. I choose computer engineering because it's going to run for a long time and also have an interest in languages so I prefer it. the student ratio would be around 60/40 boys /girls. there are smartboards present for teaching and also many labs where students can go and sit there is no restriction which is one of the good points. for exams, there are mid and end sem per year and in between them there are in total of 4 unit tests conducted.
