Remarks :

I applied for counselling in Tamil Nadu engineering counselling. I got kongu engineering college in the second round I had a Cutt of 184.65. I got admission for a bachelor's in information technology. For eligibility, you should get cut off in 12th standard more than 170 so you can easily get a seat in kec. You can apply for engineering counselling for admission. Or contact the college using the website www.konguengineeringcollege.in

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because it had a great opportunity to expose myself. The number of students per class is 60. 60 students: 1 staff. the staffs were well qualified and PhD holders. The staff were friendly enough to clear our doubts. staffs teach clearly with ppts and using boards. Staffs expect from students good behaviour. The exams were moderate if you prepared well you can get a pass.

Class Size : 68Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Zoho, IBM, TCS and others were providing internships for the students so they can learn about the industry before they get graduated. the company provides provide stipend according to its norms.

Placement Experience :

after completing your 5th semester you are eligible for placement. Google, Wiper, Infosys, IBM, and microsoft are the top recruiters and a total of 287 companies visiting our college. highest package is 70 lakh per annum. 97 per cent of students get placed I am planning to higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college provides various scholarships for students based on: Merit on studies Merit on sports Bc/mbc scholarships sc/st scholarship Farmer scholarship The annual fee is 1 lakh rupees. If you are the first graduate it will be lower.

Campus Life :

one of the biggest fests in kongu engineering college is enthusiasm and swarm. it is conducted during the month of January. like has one of the biggest libraries with more than 8000 books and a pleasant area for reading with air conditioning. classrooms were well equipped with projectors and air conditioning. all kinds of sports courses were present in kec with 4 acres for the sports field. the music and cultural clubs, and self-development clubs, were run by students

Hostel Facilities :

the room condition of the hostel was good, the quality was good, and the meals were vegetarian. you want to register in the college portal for hostel accommodation. the rent and mess fees will be affordable cost. the environment of the hostel was good.

Cit has provided me with a great opportunity to explore the core fields of biomedical engineering through weekly hospital visits to Sri Ramachandra Hospitals, Apollo Hospital,Deepam Hospital.As well as i have visited Various healthcare companies like AMTZ Vishakapattinam phoenix Medical system Siemens Biovision medical system. I could seamlessly get placed in a well-renowned company named Stryker with a salary package of 8 lakhs. This was possible because of the knowledge I perceived during my core placement and training.

I have chosen BE CSE because this course has lots and lots of opportunities to survive in this field, very good and friendly faculties except one or two only, the teaching of the faculties were good, we have two sem per year and four internal exams totally for a year each sem two internal exams.

Value for money

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester the students are allowed to attend the placement as well as allowed to attend the internship. Most of the my friend attend internship with stipend. Nearly 40 percentage of people got placed during this academic year. The recuriting companies are mobase electronics, pinnacle, vinisinfo, edveon, namalatech etcc. Highest package is 6 LPA Average package is 2.5 LPA.
