The admission to every NIT as you know is purely based on Performance in JEE Main. All you need to clear the minimum cutoff and undergo the counseling process. The admission to NIT SRINAGAR apart from clearing JEE Main Cutoff is so easy.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty of the National Institute Of Technology Srinagar in general and the Department of Electronics And Communication Engineering in particular is highly qualified, dedicated, and supportive. The boy-girl ratio here at NIT Srinagar is about 4:1. You need to appear twice in semester exams which are moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities :

The students here at the National Institute Of Technology Srinagar can start doing internships right from the first year. The college is providing all possible internship supports to its students with a few of its brilliant student getting selected for foreign internship programs.

Placement Experience :

Students here at the National Institute of Technology Srinagar start getting placed right from the 6th semester. The main recruiting companies include wirpo, Tesla, Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, etc. Also, some government jobs offer by PSU companies. Our institution recorded a sky-high percentage of placements last year which was about 85% overall with students getting at an average of 15-20 LPA and the highest of 45 LPA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure here at the National Institute Of Technology Srinagar varies over ranges. Suppose if your family income is less than 1LPA, you'll get a 100% fee concession. However if your family income is between 1-5LPA, you need to pay 1/3 of the tuition fee and if it's above 5LPA, you need to pay the full tuition fee which is about 75k per semester.

Campus Life :

The fest culture here in the National Institute Of Technology Srinagar isn't that much famous and operational and here barely two or three fests take place annually. You can get all the basic books from a fully packed library. The classrooms here in NIT SRINAGAR are smartly maintained.

One of the beautiful college campus in india

Placement Experience:

Placement is good in our college compared to other NITs we get in these ranks. CSE & IT is considered best here then ECE is also good. You can go for lower branches also, placement does happen in every branch. Our average placement is 13lpa. Every year nearly early 80% of students got placed in this college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good as it is NIT. Around 85 percent of all branches are getting placements with average package of 6.5 Lacs and highest package of 27 LPA. Even i am placed in 2 companies. IIT JAMMU has very good placements stats as compared to all other 3rd gen IITs. The highest package Offered in the year 2021 is 52LPA for BTech and Median Package for CSE is 21LPA. Almost 83% of students get placed. The Overall median package of Btech is 16LPA. In MTech Highest package is 45LPA and the median is 25.5 LPA. The top companies visiting are amazon, Microsoft, sprinklr, indeed, Samsung, and Qualcomm.
