Student's Review On Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (Evening), V V Puram Campus - [SBMJC], Bangalore | collegedunia.com

College critic - JGI

Remarks :

The admission process was completely online as we were not given the opportunity to visit college premises due to COVID-19. Although the admission process was quite smooth and we had discussed everything we wanted to know through call. There was no entrance exam as I had studied for my pre-university in the same college. There's actually no need for improvement in the admission process as college staff are well off in their work.

Course Curriculum Overview :

B.COM is a great course for those who have more interest in the field of commerce or business. I personally chose this as I like being in the field itself. Teachers here are very supportive and helpful in every aspect. As far as I know, most faculties are well-educated and speak fluently and their methodology is very different. Semester exams are conducted in every 6 months but internal exams are conducted frequently.

Placement Experience :

Students are eligible for placements after the 5th semester as far as I know. I wouldn't know about the companies as I'm still studying. My plans after getting the degree would be to have a great job with a good amount of salary and not with work pressure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Actually, the fee structure is very basic and I personally feel most people can easily afford it. To be more specific fees for reg. Bcom is 55k which is very less compared to most of the colleges.

Campus Life :

Social life is not as great as day colleges but events and fests are conducted. There is a good library but I have no idea about the books as I have never been there to actually sit and read. Classrooms are great no compromise Sports are conducted for e.g cricket, football etc all sports are prioritised Personally, I have no idea about clubs except one which is the Rotaract club
