Remarks :
To be eligible for B.Tech one must have atleast 70% in their board exams of physics chemistry and maths Application forms can be found on bennett University official website and you can apply online later you will recieve a call and offer letter (application form costs 1000Rs) You can get defence quota which provides 5% scholarship Overall the admission process was very smooth there weren't any problems
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i was always interested in computer science and it's been my strongest subject A batch contains 30 students and there are enough faculty members that a student can get individual attention in classes Almost every faculty member is PHD degree holder and their teaching method is very impressive they interact with students take every doubts however 1-2 teachers don't teach that good but despite that all teachers are really friendly they even connect with students personally we can even study individually with them There are mid sem exams and end sem exams, mid sems are held after half of semester is done and end sem are held at end of the semester but throughout the semester we do get quizs and assignments which adds up in internals
Internships Opportunities :
I don't know much about the internships here as i am still in 1st year but they do have some internship training programs where you enroll and attend lectures then you have to submit your projects based on what you learnt then you get interview opportunities
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester Many companies visit the campus like Google Wipro Amazon etc and average package is around 11.5 lakhs with every 1 in 3 student getting above 10 lakhs package highest package was 1.2 crore for Germany I plan to go for further studies after my degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees here is expensive as it is a private college studying here can be very expensive for many students for b.tech each year tution fees is 370000 with hostel charges being 180000 for double sharing and 150000 for triple sharing. For NRI students they have to pay extra 12000 per year for examination and 26000 extra for sports charges Bennett provides scholarship based on board marks or jee results and for defence quota you get 5% scholarship
Campus Life :
Uphoria our annual cultural fest is beautifully curated and creatively organised with student driver actives like stand up, project expo, movies,folk damcey, etc Zenevia our annual tech fest where students from different colleges gets invited to explore various fields in tech domain These are held in mid October We have all the books and journals available in our library We got almost every sports and you can even get in the college team in the tryouts
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel costs 180000 per year and have all the required facilities like laundry, clean bathrooms, canteens we can even get food delivered to our rooms The food in the mess is really tasty we got all varieties of food made on different days and fun small events held on every weekend
