Remarks :

Cracked Jee Advance with a rank of 5303 and opted for Textile Technology in IIT Delhi. The admission process included submitting our preferences based on our rank and cutoff of the respective branch and college available in the Rank range. The improvement I would like to see in the admission process will be that we can't change our preferences at JoSAA after a certain date but it would be better if we can change our preferences at all times during the JoSAA round

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course solely due to the Tag of IIT Delhi and the opportunities it brings with its name Faculty: students ratio is around 1:15 Many faculties have PhDs from well-reputed schools abroad including Ivy Leagues Exams are often challenging and averages of some courses go too low

Class Size : 102Course Fees : INR 238000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies visit the College during the Internship season including BCG Qualcomm Amazon and Google but only half of the students get the Internship opportunity through the Institute OCS, the rest apply off the campus for the Internship

Placement Experience :

4th-year students are eligible to sit for placements Many companies visit during the placement season, including BCG and Big 4 for Consult and Amazing, Google for Tech, and many more The highest package of the Institute is around 1.5Cr while the average package differs from branch to branch. My branch gives an average package of 12 Lakhs Nearly all people who sit in placement get a job My plans after getting a degree are to do MBA from IIM Bangalore

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of our college are 238000 for two semesters and if a student stays in the hostel he has to pay hostel fees of 60000 Tuition Fee Waiver for people with annual family income less than 5 Lakh per annum Scholarships like IITD Endowment Scholarship are given to meritorious students on the basis of their GPA.

Campus Life :

The annual fest Rendezvous is held in our college which is Asia's largest cultural fest and is conducted in March-April Our Annual tech fest is Tryst which takes place in March-April and a lot of tech companies visit our campus during the fest The college ensures that sports and extracurricular activities take place such as the Group Dance by the IITD dance club, Stalwarts by debating Society, and many more Clubs run by students include the BRCA which conducts all the events of our college related to Cultural Activities

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms on some floors are spacious while some are not. In our first year, two students shared a room that was big enough for two people In the second year, some got single rooms for themselves but some still had a room partner Meal given by the hostel is good but sometimes it's below the expectation and the mess is opens 4 times a day-Breakfast, Lunch,Evening Snacks and Dinner Hostel Registration took place through the IIT ILS website

Descent college in IPU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible by the end of the third year. Students have been placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Myntra, and Hotstar but the number is less. On the other hand companies like Josh(10 LPA), Hashdien(8 LPA), and ZS associates(7.93 LPA) regularly visit the college. Almost 90-95 percent of students get placed for sure. Some opt for higher studies and other plans. Highest Package: Microsoft (41.86 LPA). Average Package: 7 LPA. My plan is to pursue a software development job after my degree in an MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the computer science branch as it is the most demanding branch in recent as well as for the future. There are 66 students in total in the class. Classes are divided into two batches for the lab. All the faculties are well qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D. Well-supportive teachers can even ask your doubt personally when they are free. Exams are on time as it is followed by the notice from the university and you can pass the exam if you are a little attentive in class Or if you studied the important topics provided by the teachers.
