Remarks :
NSUT offers 10 specializations under the B.Tech course. To apply, a candidate should have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry / Biotechnology with 75% marks or should feature among the top 20 percentile. For selection, the candidate has to take the JEE- Main.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty was having proper knowledge of their fields. Most of the facility was experienced and permanent of around 27-40 years age. Most of them were having post graduation or masters. Daily there were around 5-6 lectures of 1 hour each. They used examples,PPT, practical demonstrations for making the things clear
Internships Opportunities :
The internship process at NSIT begins in the month of august ie from your 5th semester. Generally the first company that comes for internship is Microsoft. After that you have some companies coming at an interval of 1 month for internship. All of them are generally for COE/IT people. I don't think there is any company that comes for MPAE/BT. Some electronics companies come (like Qualcomm, TI) and then people from ECE and ICE have a chance to get a college internship
Placement Experience :
Mostly all the top companies including technical and non-technical companies visit every year for placement process. Placement process is very crystal clear. Students with more than 65% aggregate can sit in almost all relevant companies. Recruitment process includes percentage shortlisting, followed by written test, followed by group discussions and final interviews.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee Structure is very transparent. Whole fee structure is available on college's website. No there is no hidden way to secure the addmission, it is totally dependent on your rank of IIT jee mains now. Mode of payment is through cash, Demand draft, cheque, etc.
Campus Life :
Gender ratio was good about 60:40 based on ranking of students. There is no criteria of admission based on gender. There were various cultural and technical societies like dance, drama, singing, etc. Societies. Everyone is free to be a part of the societies.There is no discrimination based on caste, religion or economic conditions of a student.
