Beauty of NiT Hamirpur

Remarks :

To get admission to NIT you need to crack jee mains exam conducted by NTA in the months of January and April Application forms are out for registration in the months of January and April on the website of NTA. Application fees depend on the category of the applicant. The admission process is quite good and fair.

Course Curriculum Overview :

So I chose the electrical branch because I had an interest in electrical parts and moreover you get the wide scope in government job as well. Faculty: student ratio is 30:70.although the faculty of the rest of the branches is quite lenient and good. Give marks and don't do hard checking. But the electrical branch in Nit hamirpur is considered one of the toughest branches. Because the faculty is so strict here. Faculty is highly qualified professors are qualified from IITs NITs are PHD holders. But their teaching method is not so good it's like 6/10 Term exams are conducted twice in a semester mid semester and end-semester. Mid-semester exams were easy to pass but end-semester exams were way too hard. Especially in the electrical department.

Placement Experience :

Students from the 6th semester onwards are eligible for placements. On-campus placements are provided no. of companies like Amazon, Oracle, Samsung, and Wipro visit NiT Hamirpur offering packages avg .12 lacs to 1 crore. Placements of Cse branch are way too good students have been placed with packages of 50 lacs -1crore Almost 70% of students get placed in this college. Though I have no plans for placement. As I said earlier my interest is in a government job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees structure is like for non-reserved students College Academic fees are Rs .83200 and Rs 30000 for the mess. For reserved candidates (category reservation or Ews). The fee is Rs 13500 and the mess fees are the same Rs 30000. Students get scholarship NPS scholarship is given to students who are eligible for that. Eligibility criteria can be seen on NPS national policy scheme website.

Campus Life :

Life in NiT Hamirpur is way too good. Greenery all around. NiT Hamirpur's annual college fest Hillfair is organised in the month of November and December every year. And technical fest Nimbus one of the greatest technical fests of North India is organised In hereby NIT Hamirpur in the month of March and April. College classrooms are maintained and have LCD projectors Air conditioners etc. The college has well-equipped labs with well-maintained instruments. The college has well maintained Library all books of the courses are available there which can be issued by students. In Nit hamirpur sports activities are always at their peak. Here are every sports intercollege competitions are held. To keep college life enjoyable and fun there are different clubs and societies run by Students in college. Pravah is dramatic club of nit hamirpur Fashp fashion club, Rythmeze is a dance club And many more clubs are here.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good not too good. The hostel have well furnished rooms for students with attached cupboards have a night canteen Big ground indoor games like snooker wooden badminton court basketball court. Free wifi is available for all.

Placement Experience:

The placements percentage of our institute varies from one branch to other. Computer science and Electronics and communication engineering have good average packages while other branches have many wonderful packages but lower average packages. But having skill in you can't affect to be in any branch. You can simply get a high package if you have the potential to fulfill the needs of the company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because my father, faculty or student ratio was just ok at the beginning but with time it got better. The faculty was just awesome, everyone had their own methods of teaching. There were two Mid-term sessionals every semester followed by assessments on the basis of assignments, presentations or vivas and then the final semester exams. The level of exams was moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As Computer Science and engineering are popular these days. I chose this course because I love problem-solving. I enjoy the technical site so computer science fits best me. The student-teacher ratio is 10:1 to ensure every student gets to follow the activity properly and remain attentive throughout. Faculty members are very experienced in their fields and look for the overall development of students in their subjects. All the faculty members are well-qualified, and all are punctual on time. The course curriculum focuses both on the theoretical and practical knowledge of students. The courses eventually change over time. Term exams are not so tough to pass. Regular attendees can easily pass the examination with a good pointer.

Generally, colleges offer good placements to students. If any student doesn't want to take placement from the campus he can take off-campus placement. Recently a student of NIT Hamirpur was offered a package of 1.3 crores per annum
