Remarks :
Eligibility of students is based on their percentile score in the MH-CET or the JEE examination. Students are required to fill admission form after selecting a college through CAP rounds. The fee for participation in CAP rounds is 1000 INR
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I found this field in my interest and it is quite an emerging field. Faculty to student ratio is not very good. Teaching methods and quality of some professors are brilliant, but some professors are not really very good at it. Exams were conducted twice a semester, internals and externals. It wasn't much difficult to clear the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Companies such as FinIQ, TIAA etc provide internship opportunities to the student of the institute. The internship is compulsory for students in the 6th semester of the course. The average stipend for the internships is 10000 INR
Placement Experience :
Placements start from the 7th semester of the course. Companies such as Bosch, TCS, Druva etc visited the campus for the placement process. The highest package was 18 LPA and the average package is 5 LPA. After a student gets placed, he/she is not allowed to apply for upcoming placement opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is not very good. Fees include use of the facilities such as a library, laboratories, gymkhana etc. There are multiple scholarships available for students which are provided by the government.
Campus Life :
Maffick is the annual fest that takes place in the institute. Moreover, each department has its own techfest which is generally conducted in the month of march every year. A large number of books are available in the college library among different genres. Sports events are also conducted frequently and students can even play some games at the gymkhana. Classrooms are equipped with wifi and projectors for tech-based teaching for students.
