Remarks :

So basically admission can be done either by TNEA counseling or by management quota. The management quota is purely merit-based. The entrance exam is conducted which is further proceeded by an interview. Through counseling cutoff above 195 is required for CSE, EEE, IT, and ECE. The application can be found ssn the official website. The application fee is 1000rs. The dates for application are not yet published.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Basically, I chose ECE because I was a bit interested in it. The faculties are awesome in this college. They are very friendly and clears all of our doubts whenever we ask them. Most of the faculties are PHd holders and their teaching method is in the way we could understand easier. If needed they could teach in tamil also. Two internal exams will be held: CAT 1 and 2 with a 1-month gap between. The exams are easy to pass if we study clearly.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Placement Experience :

From 3rd year onwards placement training is given. And some get placed before their 6th semester itself. The highest package is 1cr per annum and the average package is around 20LPA. Almost 90% of students are placed. Many top companies like Wipro, Infosys, tata, hcl, cts, Deloitte, mr.cooper, etc. The offers made are around 1000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee from management quota and counseling differs from about 1lakh. There are many scholarships for sports, 7.5 reservations, and many more. Also, the scholarship can be availed through alumni also. There is 90% placement. And the average salary is 20 - 29LPA.

Campus Life :

INSTINCTS- cultural fest which is usually held for 3 days in the month of march. It includes various performances by clubs of ssn as well as other colleges. Dj nights are awesome. SYCON- It is an event regarding entrepreneurship. Many celebrities and businessmen give ideas about startups, etc. INVENTE- tech fest in which various colleges participate. Ssn has a huge library with AC facilities and many no. of books. A digital library is also available. Classrooms are so peaceful and have smartboards. There are various sports held like basketball, table tennis, chess, and whatnot, The college management gives great support in sports. Clubs- tamil saaral mandram, English literature club, n2k dance club, arudhra Bharatnatyam club, humorous club, design club, tech club, and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is so good compared to other colleges. It has solar hot water facility so that u get hotwater 24/7. There are shared rooms as well as single rooms with and without both AC and restroom. Mess food is the best. It is of good quality and both veg, non veg is available. Registration process is on the spot during the day of admission. I did not rent a room, but some of them whom i know rented rooms from kelambakkam which is around 20min
