Remarks :

The admission process is very simple and sweet, first, you visit our Agriculture department and meet the Head of the Department Mr Neeraj Kumar Gupta Sir. He can explain to you the full details of this course (BSC HONS. AGRICULTURE), like the duration of the course, subjects, fees structure, other charges, etc. There is no entrance exam-based admission required, Document required for your admission are as follows- 10th Marksheet, 12thMarksheet, Passport size photographs, Transfer certificate, and Migration. If you are a dropper Gap certificate is also required. Eligibility is 10+2 in Science Stream from a recognized educational board 12th (Agriculture /PCB /PCM) Minimum 50% marks for General, OBC- 45%, SC/ST-40% You get the course details on our Official site LNCTU and you can also visit the department. If you belong to OBC, SC, or ST caste you are eligible for scholarship benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus of Agriculture is vast compared to other subjects. Our syllabus is based on ICAR 5th dean committee, Horticulture, Agronomy, soil science, Genetics, and Extension are some branches of agriculture. Faculty members are highly knowledgeable in their Field and supportive. I choose this course because I want to be an Agriculture Field Officer (meets and maintains a good relationship with farmers and thereby generates Leads. They conduct a pre-loan sanction inspection), I think it is the first preference for every agriculture graduate due to its work profile, directly connected to farmers and help them, in another hand my hobby is doing gardening. The faculty: Student ratio is about 20:1. Faculties pursued Master's and PHD'S in their relevant field from recognized universities. The teaching method of the Faculty is good, they explain each and every topic from basic to Advance levels theoretically and practically. The exam is conducted after every 4-5 months. Each semester contains about 9-10 subjects

Class Size : 280Course Fees : INR 240 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

60 thousand per year 30thousands for each semester. The exam fee is 1850 for each semester. One-time enrollment fees are about 1300 ( not sure). If you are from a reserved category (OBS, SC, ST) you are eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life :

Our campus is approx 50 acres area, surrounded by lots of Amazing buildings and lots of greenery. Life is amazing on campus with your friends, a Cool cafeteria, Gardens and a very peaceful environment. Infrastructure is finely constructed. Agriculture subjects related to all books are available in our library, and all Journals like Rashtriya Krishi and Krishi Jagran are also available. Amenities like Projector, Cameras, Clean desks and tables, and proper ventilation are available. Sports activities like Basketball, Cricket, Kabaddi and NCC, NSS are available. The agriculture department has its own WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram pages for spreading knowledge.

A good college for btech

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of last semester, students become eligible for placements. Any company visited like Bridgestone, TCS, Infosys, etc. Packages 32 lakh and average packages 4 lakh per annum. Almost 65% of students are getting placement.

I am interested in setting up my own business hence I applied for this course. The faculty members are well-versed in what they teach. Term exams were semester-wise and were pretty difficult to say. One has to study hard.

From the 7th semester, our college starts getting its students placed. Amazon, Infosys, Textbook, etc. other big companies visit here and take students from this college.
