Remarks :

The eligibility criteria for the course of btech in Artificial Intelligence and data science at Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is: min 96%tile according to the year 2022 in the MHTCET examination conducted by the state govt of Maharashtra An applicant is allowed to fill the form from the CET CELL website of the Maharashtra govt available in chrome or any other browser The min application fee is approx 800 + bank charges There are reservation benefits in this exam as per the govt norms and reserved seat criteria for the other state candidates which you can access on the govt web page The admission process is slow compared to jossa council and takes time for the completion of the admission

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course has a future scope and that's why many of the students are approaching this course The faculty-student ratio is decent and enough and is approx 1: 50 The teaching method is not of old school instead has a modern day learning solution Term exam gets conducted after every 5-6 months and the level of the exam I moderate to high

Internships Opportunities :

JP Morgan , TCS, INFOSYS, and other tech giants come for the internships offers for the students and offer the average stipend of 30000 There can be various projects given in academics. In the entire course, you have to complete in 8 projects i.e per sem one project

Placement Experience :

From 3 rd year, students get the eligibility for the internship and placement JPMorgan and many big tech giants come for the selection in the placement cell The highest offer given last year was around 42 lacs per year and is given by JPMorgan. The fees hike is not as much as the private institutes and are controlled and students gets different types of scholarships from the govt . The name of the annual fest is VISHWA KARANDAK and it is generally held in The month of February or in the last week of January. The tech fest in VIT is called MELANGE and is in the month of September or in the month of October The amenities in the classroom contain comfortable desks and tables for the students and a blackboard for the teachers and a mini stage so that the teachers get a height We can play many sports like cricket football, etc and there are many social groups in the campus around that are run by the students

The faculty is super supportive if you can prove yourself studious. They help you in extracurricular activities as well and the curriculum is also well-designed. All teachers are greatly qualified and are fully supportive.

I choose this course because I was interested in the same. The teaching method was good for some subjects while it was average for the other subjects. Term exams were conducted very frequently with a unit test every month followed by the final semester examination.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th-semester third-year students are eligible to take placement through campus. Various companies like TCS, TATA Power, TATA Motors, Calderys, Wipro, Atlas Copco, Nvidia, Siemens, Adani Power, Larsen and Toubro, Endress Hauser, Dassault Systemes, Varroc, etc are the major recruiters. Nearly 5 LPA is an average package for any branch in this college. The highest package is nearly 16 LPA for EnTC, CS and IT branches by NVIDIA, Lowest package is Rs. 19,000 per month by TATA Motors. The average package for Mechanical Branch is also very good like 5 LPA from Atlas Copco, 4.5 to 5.5 LPA by Calderys. The percentage of Students who get placed is nearly 90% from EnTC, CS, and IT Branch. 50 to 70% from the Mechanical and Electrical Branch and 20 to 25% for Civil Branch.
