Remarks :

Selection through the IIFT exam cut-off usually goes to the 97 percentile but there are students here with 95 percentile with diverse backgrounds. The application can be found on NTA Website and the form fee was Rs 2500 in my time

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because this College comes under the Ministry of Commerce so it can give me a deep knowledge of International Business The faculty here is very great and all facilities are government employees working for the trade policies of India. Great learning and live project opportunities under teachers here

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are exceptionally good in IIFT Kolkata. 100 per cent of students get placed. The average package is around 30 lacs. Students become eligible for campus placement in 3rd trimester. Almost 300 to 400 companies visit the college

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Usually, there is a hike of 9 per cent in the hike of fees every year. Only SC and ST students have as far my knowledge a scholarship of 50 per cent in college fees and other amenities. Apart from that, I'm not sure of any other scholarship

Campus Life :

There is 3 major fest conducted in the college that is Advait, Vivan and Battle By the Lakes. These are conducted in the month of February, October and March respectively. The Library here is fully furnished with a Bloomberg facility. There are 12 clubs, and cell committees in this college.

Hostel Facilities :

Boys are provided with single rooms with a common bathroom and toilet facility. Girls live in sharing flat design. There are Executive and Facility housing also. The menu of the mess is quite good and diverse and it costs only Rs 5000 per month. And the food is very good

Hostel Fee : INR 65000 per year

Interview Experience :

The test consisted of 4 parts Quants, LRDI, VARC and GK. Passing the cutoff in each sec6 is mandatory to get selected. GD and Interview: They happen simultaneously. I have one Extempore on the topic of fluctuations in markets due to Russia Ukraine war and Interview was mostly based on my background as I was an art student

Placement Experience:

The available profiles include those in finance, sales and marketing, consulting, global business, information technology, analytics, and trade. Following graduation, I want to work for a reputable consulting company like Mckinsey, Ernst & Young, or Optum.

IIFT a door to plethora of opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students have the possibility to be placed beginning in the fifth trimester, in addition to the preplacement offer. Visits to the campus have been made by DE Shaw, Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase, and Company. No. 200 candidates were chosen. The average domestic package is Rs. 21 lakhs, with Microsoft offering the largest at Rs. 45 lakhs. Financial, sales, marketing, consulting, international business, information technology, analytics, and trade profiles are available. Following graduation, I want to work for a reputable trade company like Cargill, Olam International, or Cofico.

The college follows the legacy placement processes for both the summer and final placements. The most recent data depicts the average summer internship stipend to be 263000 for the period of 2 months and 25,16,000 for the final placement offers. There is a record of 100 % placements every year from the college's side. In the end, it rests upon the student's merit to crack the good companies and make their career.
