Remarks :

The admission process was easy as all the necessary details were available on the college site. The entrance exam I took was KMAT (Kerala Management Admission Test). The application form will be available on the official site.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of the placement opportunities that it offers. The faculty that is currently present is well-qualified, and the faculty-student ratio is also great. The exams were fairly easy to pass.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The college offers internship opportunities within all of the prominent fields including HR, marketing, finance etc. Some examples of companies would be ICICI prudential, MyKare, Fundsroom, Leading Solutions etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is really affordable and also the college offers opportunities for availing various scholarships. I personally chose this institution because of the number of placement opportunities that they give their students.

Campus Life :

The campus is very lively and active at all times. Social life is very positive on campus. The annual fest is called 'talentime' and is conducted from February- March. Classrooms are also equipped with the most modern amenities.

Interview Experience :

There was no written test for admission other than the common entrance test (CMAT, KMAT etc.). And the only 2 steps in the admission process were GD and personal interview. I prepared for these rounds by going through current affairs and some general knowledge topics.

Life at SMS

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from their 3rd semester onwards. Companies like Federal Bank, KPMG, Berger paints, ICICI, and many other visits for Campus Placements. The average CTC offered is above 7 LPA. The highest CTC was 12 LPA the previous year.

Placemats in XIME generally start on the first of November and they provide ample amount of opportunities to everyone. At the initiative of the placement week, all the major big companies will come just the name you, like Accenture, and KPMG. EY, Oracle, Wipro, Infosys, JP Morgan, Etcetera. For this year, the placement is still going on The average CTC goes around 12 to 14lakhs depending on your caliber if you are in the top 20%. You can expect a good package.
