Bestest college of DU

10.0 /10

Remarks :

The admission process at my time was pretty simple as it was based on cutoffs. Based on my percentage I checked the cutoffs. After I got eligible for admission I took the required documents such as Xth Marksheet, XII Marksheet, caste certificate, migration certificate, aadhar, application form etc. Anyone can find the application form on the DU website itself. Each and every detail regarding the admissions is mentioned there only on the notice board of the site and this site is easy to operate so there's no need to worry. Recent school pass-outs can check their eligibility according to the course they choose and then select the methods available in the application form. There is relaxation for people other than the general category. The admissions process at DU has already improved, so I don't think there's any need for improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My course was BSc life science and I choose this course because I wanted to learn overall science as I'm a science student. The faculty of our college is one of the best faculty. They are so supportive and motivating even my classmates were also friendly. The teaching methods were beneficial and good. Exams were not very tough they were moderate. It will be tough for those who didn't study at all.

Internships Opportunities :

There were various companies that provided internship opportunities mostly where startups. They provided great opportunities with the best stipend. The stipend started from 2k-20k. There were different projects according to the requirements and the outcome was really fruit full.

Placement Experience :

SVC provided really great placement opportunities. Generally, last year's students are eligible for the placements. Companies like Accenture, TCS, tech Mahindra, etc came to our college with placement opportunities with 15-22lakh per annum packages. The highest package was 23 lakhs per annum for BCom students and the average was 16 lakhs per annum. A good amount of students got placed in these MNCs.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

DU courses are not expensive at all they start from 7k and end at 30k. Anyone can afford courses at this university. They provide lots of internship and placement opportunities with a great stipend you can ever imagine.

Campus Life :

College life was the best. We had fest programs and so many other activities too. In the month of Feb, fests are conducted where famous celebrities come and perform. And throughout the year they conduct various fun and interactive activities. Any book related to your course is available in the library. Sports activities are also organised by the college like cricket, basketball, football, table tennis, etc. People of SVC made so many different societies and clubs with strong piller of impact.
