Remarks :
The admission process involves an entrance test which is a 100 marks test, from which the top 300 scorers are called for the further rounds. This is followed by WAT, GD, and PI, after which the final 30 students, based on the cumulative score of all four rounds are selected for the course. The selection process is fairly straightforward and the details of the same and the application form are clearly available on the website.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is designed to provide us with an in-depth understanding of the various verticals of the HR domain. We have a mix of in-house faculty and visiting faculty. The visiting faculty at our college includes various renowned professionals from the industry holding positions like Vice President, Managing Directors, etc in their respective companies. The course has been going well as per the timeline and so have the exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Some of the companies visiting campus for internships include Morgan Stanley, HDFC, HPCL, Raymond, Puma, Mensa Brands, etc. The roles that were offered included HRBP intern, Change Management intern, HR Analyst, and Automation, Talent Acquisition intern, etc
Placement Experience :
Being a tier 1 institute, the college has a great name in the industry and it does offer placements for all. Some of the prominent recruiters include Adani Wilmar, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Puma, HCL, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since it's an institute that comes under the University of Mumbai, the course fees are very affordable. It is ? 7 Lakh for two years. This is included all the costs excluding accommodation as the college doesn't provide a hostel of its own. There hasn't been any hike in the fees of the course since its inception.
Campus Life :
The campus life is a little different compared to the regular Bschool campus life as the college isn't a regular Bschool campus. Although there are student-run clubs and committees in the college, not a lot of big fests happen. The library has a great collection of books in both online and offline forms.
Interview Experience :
The selection process included everything: a written ability test, followed by a group discussion and personal interview. The topics of the GD mostly included the current happenings in the industry like the great resignation or gig economy etc. The written ability test required us to write a statement of purpose and a pledge to the college and the course. The personal interview was subjective and different for all the candidates. The preparation mostly involved reading up on the current happenings in the industry and preparing answers and previous subjects for the interview.
