Remarks :
Allahabad university offers an LLM Course of 2 years. Some universities also offer this course for a 1-year duration. You need to be a law graduate with either 5 years or a 3-year law degree. The entrance exam was earlier conducted by the university itself but from this session, admissions will be held under cuet pg examinations conducted by NTA. Course Curriculum Overview :
If you are willing to prepare for competitive exams you can think of this university. You can also start your practice as a lawyer in the Allahabad high court. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The exams are held semester-wise. But the whole year you will be busy with exams. For two years you will have 4 semesters, 4 mid-term, and 8 internal tests.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees have increased by 3 times. It will be about 4800-5k annually. The increased fees are still not too much competed to the facilities and the central university degree that you will get. There is no such scholarship opportunity by the university. However various other government scholarships are in vogue on the campus that you can fill out considering the eligibility criteria.
Campus Life :
Fest and other programs have been disturbed due to the pandemic. Since this is a pg course, and you have already studied for 5-6 years in college you don't get to take part in university sports on behalf of the university. The students are considered seniors in the faculty, so they are not much interested in cultural activities and so there is a lack of opportunities also.
