Remarks :

I got admitted to IIITD through JEE MAINS (joint entrance exam), and the cutoff of CSAI for my category(general, outside Delhi) was somewhat under AIR 2500. Delhi quota is about 85%, giving aspirants who completed their high school in Delhi much relief.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose CSAI bcoz of my keen interest in artificial intelligence and the placement opportunities which comes with it. Teachers of IIITD are highly qualified and are constantly updated with the latest technology and teaching techniques. We have eight semesters, and our curriculum is quite tricky compared to other B-tech colleges and universities.

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 425000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Almost every famous tech and management company comes offering internships with stipends ranging bw 60k- 2.5L per month. Exact data on name of companies with the stipend offered can be checked on the official website of IIITD

Placement Experience :

Students have to complete at least two internships before 4th year, and the average placement of my course is around 30 LPA, with 100% of students getting placed. Students can also opt for getting into integrated M-tech courses in 3rd year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fee is quite high and it keeps increasing by 10% every year. Course fee - 4.25 L per year. Hostel fee (double room) - 66k per year. Mess charges - 3500 per month (around). Students belonging to GEN-EWS or having income less than a certain amount are given some percentage of scholarship (Different policy every year).

Campus Life :

Odyssey - the annual fest of our college, is conducted in January and consists of many competitions and nirvana night. Esya- techfest of our college is conducted every year inviting various other colleges to participate There are a lot of clubs that conduct at least 2 club activities every semester ( for each club).

Descent college in IPU

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible by the end of the third year. Students have been placed in companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Myntra, and Hotstar but the number is less. On the other hand companies like Josh(10 LPA), Hashdien(8 LPA), and ZS associates(7.93 LPA) regularly visit the college. Almost 90-95 percent of students get placed for sure. Some opt for higher studies and other plans. Highest Package: Microsoft (41.86 LPA). Average Package: 7 LPA. My plan is to pursue a software development job after my degree in an MNC.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the computer science branch as it is the most demanding branch in recent as well as for the future. There are 66 students in total in the class. Classes are divided into two batches for the lab. All the faculties are well qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders or pursuing Ph.D. Well-supportive teachers can even ask your doubt personally when they are free. Exams are on time as it is followed by the notice from the university and you can pass the exam if you are a little attentive in class Or if you studied the important topics provided by the teachers.
