The College of my Dreams

Remarks :

I took The KEAM entrance exam. It usually takes place in June-July and is relatively easy compared to other admission tests in the country. I had a score of 378 which is calculated from physics, chemistry, and mathematics papers. The cut-off rank for the college was 1460 in state merit for computer science and 3843 in the Management category. There is a reservation for different backward communities like BH, EZ, MU, DV, LA, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I absolutely love the course curriculum and faculty members at my college. When I was deciding on which college to attend and which program to enroll in, I knew that I wanted to choose a school with a strong reputation for its academic programs and knowledgeable faculty. That's why I ultimately chose this college and this course, and I have not been disappointed. One of the things that I appreciate the most about the faculty at my college is their diverse backgrounds and expertise. Each of my professors brings a unique perspective to their teachings and is highly qualified in their field. The student-to-faculty ratio is also very favorable, which means that I have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get one-on-one help when I need it. In terms of the teaching method, I have found that the faculty at my college is very interactive and engaging.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure at my college is very reasonable and competitive compared to other schools in the area. I appreciate that the college offers a variety of financial assistance options, including scholarships, grants, and campus jobs, to help students offset the cost of tuition. In terms of the fees hike policy, I have found that the college is very transparent about any potential increases and does its best to minimize them. The cost of tuition has remained relatively stable since I started my program, and I have not noticed any major spikes or unexpected expenses. Overall, I believe that the fee structure at my college is very fair and offers students a variety of options to help them afford their education. I highly recommend considering the financial assistance opportunities that are available, as they can really make a difference in terms of being able to afford the cost of tuition.

Campus Life :

The tech fest is called Excel and is one of the best in south India. It is a long one with a variety of programs from sports to tech and everything. The library is really huge and one of the biggest in the city of Kochi. Classrooms are well maintained and have enough space for class strength. There are about 30 clubs on campus and each of them is really active on a daily basis! They hold various workshops and programs and all are student-run. The tech club Tinkerhub and fossMEC are really huge and statewide known.

Placement Experience:

The placements in college are quite good, with placement getting better each year. From semester 6 onwards, students get eligible for campus placements. Some of the companies that visit our college are ALSTOM, TCS, WIPRO, MRF, INFOSYS, SIEMENS, IBM, L&T, COGNUZANT, etc with the list getting long. The highest package offered this year was 12 LPA and the average was 4 LPA. In our senior bath, 70 out of 100 students got placed. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job through campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college has a placement cell each year around 400 students get placed in different companies. With an average salary of 500000 per annum. From the third year's end onwards students can apply for this and they can attend the placement exams. After completing the course they will call and we can join the college. Some of the big companies like TCS, cognizant, burst, Mindtree, l and t etc visited our college for placement.

Placement Experience:

The placements at my college are very good, with more than 500 placements achieved last year. The main companies visiting for recruitment are TCS and Infosys, and there are reportedly many other companies as well. This is a positive sign, as it indicates that there are ample job opportunities available for graduates of my college. If a college does not offer campus placements, students may still be able to find employment after completing their studies through other means, such as networking, job searching on their own, or completing internships or other experiential learning opportunities. Some students may also choose to continue their education by pursuing advanced degrees. It is important for students to consider their long-term goals and plan accordingly in order to increase their employability after completing their studies

I choose EEE because it is the future. Electric vehicles are the future. Faculty to student ratio is better here. Faculties are well qualified. There will be frequent term exams and they prepare you to attend well.
