Remarks :

The admissions are done on the basis of JEE mains rank and counseling is held usually in the month of October. All the relevant details can be found on the IPU admissions website. Counseling is done in 6 rounds, out of which there are 2 spot rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because of my personal interest in computer science. The faculty: student ratio is good. The teachers in our institution are very helpful, well qualified, and have good knowledge. There are two exams in a semester: midterms(called minors) and end terms(called majors). - Minors are easy to score, but you need to prepare well for the majors as they are checked by external examiners. - The course curriculum is relevant as new technologies like blockchain and AI/ML are included in the syllabus.

Internships Opportunities :

According to the stats of 2022, there were 120+ internship offers. These were given by companies like Amazon, Adobe, Travclan, Nagarro, Publicis Sapient, Tata 1mg, Mobikwik, Cardekho, etc. The number of internship offers is growing with each passing year.

Placement Experience :

By the end of the fourth semester, students become eligible for on-campus placements. However, you can apply off-campus anytime. Companies like Amazon, Adobe, Rapido, Tata 1mg, Accenture, Bain and Company, Airtel, Yamaha, HCL, Paytm, Flipkart, Cvent, Genpact and many others visit our college for placements. In 2022, 70+ companies visited the campus and 370+ number of offers were made. The highest package was 44 LPA and the average was 12 LPA (In 2022)

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Being a college coming under the Delhi government, the fees of this college are not very high. There are various scholarships that are provided to assist students in their studies. For example Post metric scholarship, MCM(merit cum means) scholarship, Indra Gandhi scholarship, etc.

Campus Life :

Being the main campus of IPU, many fests are held throughout the year ranging from small to big. The annual cultural fest is Anugoonj which is held in the month of February each year. It includes various singing and dance performances along with a lot of other activities. The annual technical fest is InfoXpression which is held every year in the month of November. It consists of many technical competitions revolving around DSA, competitive programming, development, etc. It also includes events such as circuit debugging, Robo race, lord of the line, Robo soccer, etc. For the purpose of fun DJ nights are also there. Talking about the library is huge with a wide collection of various genres. Sports meet is also held in the month of December each year in which around 127 affiliated colleges take part. Clubs are super active in college, whether it is drama, singing, dancing, coding, sports, etc.

Life of a Student in BPIT College

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I chose this course because I had a very much interest in computer and programming languages, I want to become a Software Developer in the future. - There are around 80 faculties members and 2600 students on campus so the ratio is 80:2600. - Most of the teachers are Ph.D. qualified and some have master's degrees, teachers on campus teach very well, and they are very helpful to the students and motivate them to work hard. - We are able to see the notice of the mid-semester examination after 2 months of the semester, we have mock mid-semester exams also for the practice of the students for the upcoming end-semester examination. The end-term examination also occurs after 4 months from when the semester begins.

Review for BPIT

Course Curriculum Overview:

Placement opportunities are decent in computer science and there are several core companies for CS. There are approx. 3 faculties for each core subject like DS and computational methods. Teachers have the standard chalk and board method in addition to 2 labs per week for each subject. There is a certain disbalance in the exam times but overall it is very easy to score good grades.
