Remarks :
XAT was the exam conducted for the admission process. Cutoffs lied around 85+ for all sections. This was followed by a PI (which was relevant in 2021). The process has changed to include a GD as well. No reservations were availed. The form is there on the website with fees of around 2100/-.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very well suited to the industry's expectations. The class size of 60 faculty allows for interactions with the faculty. There were quizzes and processes all around the term with the end terms. First-year subjects are tougher to start with but it gets progressively easier.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship is provided in reputable companies such as BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, ABG, Accenture Strategy, HUL, ITC, ColPal, ABinBev, and TAS. There are many more companies with great profiles and an average stipend of 1,50,000.
Placement Experience :
All placement opportunities are provided by the college. Opportunities are offered in consulting, sales and marketing, finance, general management, and many more. 100% placements every year is the benchmark for this college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are very reasonable to go with. There are plenty of opportunities for scholarships in the first year. Financial assistance is readily available from all the banks at a very reasonable interest rate. The average stipend is very high in comparison to all b-schools along with opportunities in various fields.
Campus Life :
Ensemble vallahla is the sports, management, and cultural fest of XLRI. The library is fully equipped with books and journals along with a Bloomberg terminal. The college is fully equipped with all sports facilities. And the sports culture is very good here. With friendly matches all around the state. All clubs and students group are student-runned.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities are very decent with cleaning every day with cleaning staff. Meal quality was very good and a range of foods is provided. Furthermore, there are many eateries on campus, along with the famous Bishu Da, our most loved eatery on campus.
Interview Experience :
The written test was there at the end of XAT and group discussions were around current topics and your learnings out of it. an SOP was to be written answering some personal behavioral questions Preparation involved going through your application thoroughly. The interview involved the application and your answers in the SOP form.
