STILL FINDING OUT

Remarks :

Eligibility is passing class 12th with a minimum of 50%marks in physics, chemistry, English, and maths or passing a diploma in engineering from Aligarh Muslim university with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Candidate should not be more than 24 years of age at the end of the year. candidate should score at least 15 marks in amueee. The application form is available on amu website. The application fee is 650/- for B.Tech only, and 750/- for both B.Tech and BArch.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because of the prestigious image of the university and also the fees for the 4 years of study were very economical and I could afford it. The faculty: student ratio is 1:40. The faculty is highly qualified with most of the faculty members being Ph.D. holders. In one semester, there were two exams -mid-semester (25 marks) and end semester(60 marks) with 15 marks for assignments and other stuff. The semester was of 4 months almost and with exams being after 2 months. The exams were easy to moderately tough.

Internships Opportunities :

Since I am in the second year of my college, I still have not got any internship opportunities from the college as yet. but my seniors are doing decent internships with most of them associated with a startup company. The college is not very active in taking steps to provide internship opportunities to students. so students have to put in personal efforts to get good internships.

Placement Experience :

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. Last year the major companies that came to recruit for campus placements were Amazon, L&T, Accenture, Samsung, TCS, Wipro, PayPal, MATLAB, etc. The highest CTC of 31 LPA was offered by amazon to two students. The average package offered was around 5.5lpa. Around 75%(final year students) got placed. My plan is to start my own company or to get a good-paying job in a big multinational company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees for 1st year=20440/-, fees for 2nd,3rd and 4th year=5500/-, hostel fees=2000/- per year. since Aligarh Muslim university is a central university, students could apply for nsp(national scholarship portal) scholarship and avail of it. I am currently in 2nd year so I still haven't got any job opportunities as yet.

Campus Life :

Every year, an annual fest by the name of 'zarf' is conducted. All books are mostly available in the AMU library(AMU library is the largest library in Asia). The classrooms are very good with very good infrastructure and smart appliances available. The college has very good sports facilities with many grounds available for each sport and they are also kept in very condition. There are many groups and clubs run by students like SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers), ROBOCLUB, IEEE, etc.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms provided are very average since the infrastructure is very old. Most of the rooms are two-seaters. In each room, there are usually two cupboards and one window. two table chairs are also provided. The meals provided are of decent quality. The registration process for a hostel is during admission counseling only. The hostels are very much affordable since it is available at a very affordable price.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements from the sixth semester itself. Companies start visiting the college in the mid of the sixth semester. If you are from a computer background then be assured of 100% placement. Other courses available are MBA, BCA MTECH integrated etc. Mostly every student gets placed to maintain the reputation of the college. It has an average package of 500000 per year. After getting the degree I'll be working in the software field

The placement at my colleagues is good. We are eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The companies that visited my college are Infosys, HCL, Dot square and many more. I don't have any information about that offers. The highest package of my college is 25 lpa and the average package of my college is 3 lpa. 70-80% of students get the placements. My plan after getting the degree is to start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was okay, and I think we can't do anything about it because it is decided by AKTU university. Also, I think B Tech with Computer Science Engineering is a good course. Also, it comes with a lot of job opportunities as well. The faculty: student ratio is around 1: 30( average of all branches ). The teachers are also highly qualified. The exams usually happen at least 4 times in a semester( 3 sessional and 1 PUT ), and these are moderately difficult to pass.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good at ITM College, Aligarh. The faculty members are also very good and the management is also very good. The faculty : student ratio in ITM College, Aligarh is 1: 70 for the B.Tech Computer Science branch. While for another branch it is around 1: 25. The teachers are also very qualified and they had even more than 15+ years of experience. Our exams are organized regularly to help students to get good marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to be a software engineer because most of my family members are software engineers so, that's why I chose to do this. The faculty ratio of the college would be approx 1 teacher on 70 students. Most of the faculty have done BTech and Mtech with respected college and they are well experienced in their subjects and their teaching method is good. We easily understand their lectures. The duration between the semester exams is an average of 4 to 5 months and this is enough for the preparation of examinations. And the exams are not easy to pass. One has to study hard to pass the exams.

Placement Experience:

Company placements are available starting in the sixth semester. Amazon recently offered the highest package, worth 2.3 crores. There are numerous employers, including Gibbons, Matlab, Laursen, and Toubro. The proportion of pupils who get placed is high and is occasionally gradually rising. Personally, after finishing my undergraduate degree, I wish to pursue an M.S.
