Remarks :

Apply for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE); the application fee will be around 1000Rs. Get good scores in JEE mains exam. You will be shortlisted for JEE advanced exam based on your scores in JEE mains. The reservation benefits are available according to the government quota. Based on the scores in JEE advanced you will get ranks. Based on the rankings the counseling happens and you will be allocated to a college based on your rank.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as B Tech is the most sought-after career choice. The faculty-student ratio is 1:50 approximately. Faculty are highly qualified with Ph.D. as a minimum qualification. and most professors are with Post Doc. Term exams are twice or thrice in a semester and academics are rigorous.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Companies from different sectors visit the campus to provide internship opportunities for an internship duration of two months and these companies pay a stipend of 50K on average. The projects are mostly engineering research-oriented. you can publish a paper by doing these projects.

Placement Experience :

The students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester and placements happen in the 8th semester. Companies from various industries visit, the number is around 250+, to recruit 900 candidates. The highest package is 80 Lakhs and the avaerage package is 12 Lakhs. 100% placements depending on the macroeconomic conditions.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for an entire four year course is 400000 in 2011 and it got increased to 800000 currently Most students avail of student loans from banks at minimal interest rates The merit-based scholarship is available for the economically weaker sections (family income less than 4Lakhs)

Campus Life :

Shaastra (annual technical fest) and Saarang (annual cultural fest) are very famous with a footfall of 50 Lakhs Central Library is available with all the books and latest journals All the classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smart technology All the sports equipment is available along with multiple courts and a big gymkhana is present which is accessible at any time. There re 25+ clubs and SIGs present on the campus and are run completely run by students

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are available for all students by default with single room facility, and LAN/WiFi connectivity. Meals are of average quality depending on the quality of the caterer on the contract The registration process for the hostel is done only once for the entire duration of the course, and registration for mess happens every month Not advisable to rent a room nearby or PG, because the tuition fee is higher for day-scholar students
