Raj Ganesh Madgulkar's Review On Modern Education Society's College Of Engineering - [MESCOE], Pune | collegedunia.com

My college

Remarks :

Admission into Modern Education Society's College of Engineering is given on the basis of seats allotted by DTE. Basically, if anyone wants to apply for this college should give MHT-CET and JEE. On the basis of cutoff and seat types, the seats are allotted to merit candidates. There is nothing like an admission form but after your MHT-CET test, you need to apply for CAP rounds conducted by DTE on the basis of your MHT-CET score. The admission process is a basic need to submit your documents and process further. Reservation is given to reserved seats allotted to students and merit students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course is in demand and in future can provide numerous job benefits as well as job opportunities in various sectors. The faculty here is quite supportive as well as can make students more visionary. The faculty from FE to BE is highly experienced holding PG degrees in various fields. Basically, the college comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University and the exams are conducted by the University mostly 5 months after the beginning of the course.

Internships Opportunities :

Junior engineers are basically roles offered under internships from the core and non-core companies who are trained there. Various projects are based on work provided by the company with a stipend depending upon work. Ranging from 9000-100000.

Placement Experience :

Basically, students are eligible for placement after 2nd year and on particular skills which the company needs. Almost students are placed on campus level placement. The highest package offered was 42 lakhs and bagged was 32 lakhs. Almost 85% are placed. Eligible candidates are always placed. My plan is to continue my higher studies with an MS degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

This course has 1,08,290 Rs fees but Mah-DBT that is Maharashtra Government pays almost 50,000 of the tuition fees. For caste-reserved students, the fee structure is less than 20,000. Various scholarships are available on Mah-DBT which one can apply for accordingly on its financial condition.

Campus Life :

Jhankar is basically an annual fest conducted by the college in the month of January. The library is one of the best for future Engineers which provides various good authors to which one can refer and learn up to the pro level. Classrooms are well organized with digital facilities. All sports are practiced on a college campus. The college gives a huge playground, cricket nets, basketball courts, etc to make sure the student is not alone in the game. Electro Infinity Club is basically an Electronic based club that conducts various events, learning programs, boot camps, etc to make sure an FE student is knowledge loaded.
