COEP Pune Mechanical Engineering will be a better option. The institute boasts of an excellent Mechanical branch. Academics, faculty base, and placements are excellent. The branch has a placement rate of around 77%. According to COEP Pune placements, Mechanical students receive an average CTC of around INR 6-8 LPA. TATA, Mercedes, Siemens, Bajaj, etc. are among the major recruiters for the branch.
COEP Mechanical branch has various clubs such as BAHA, Velociraces, and Supra.
COEP is one of the oldest engineering colleges in Maharashtra, ranked 50th by NIRF in the engineering category. IIT Tirupati was recently established and hasn’t been ranked yet by NIRF. It belongs to the new generation of IITs and is yet to make a mark in the education sector. But that being said, it has collaboration with CSIR and COE for providing students with industrial training and exposure.
