You would have to apply for the IIFT Entrance Examination that happens usually around the last week of November every year and the notification for the same comes up usually around September.

You are required to answer for a choice of the Institution and you can give your preferred choice of Kolkata campus here if you want.
After the Entrance Examination is conducted, the shortlist of students is prepared in which usually 1/50–1/70 candidates are shortlisted for the GD/PI round that is usually held around the end of January or during early Feb, where again you get the option to mention your preferred campus.
The final list of selected students comes out by April.
