This institute is on the River Ganges banks, which is very relaxing, and the college environment is very soothing and breathtakingly beautiful. My friend has just finished his 3 years in this college, and he mentioned that this institute provides a homely feeling. Teachers are amiable, kind, and helpful. Thus, if you want to take admission to this institute, go for it.

Seema Dental College and Hospital is a recognized MDS Institute in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. While Uttaranchal Dental and Medical Research Institute is a renowned dental college residing in Kansrao, Uttarakhand. Both the institutes are affiliated to HNBGU.

• Facilities: SDCH has a well-structured infrastructure located on the banks of river Ganga. The institute provides equipped dental facilities and technology like clinical microscopes, lasers, TENS, electrosurgery, sedation unit, etc. Uttaranchal Institute is known best for its Prosthetic department. Although, infrastructure wise Seema Institute better when compared to the Uttarakhanchal Dental and Medical Research Institute.

• Faculty: SDCH has renowned and experienced faculties in every department and a very good OPD for the practice purpose of students. Uttaranchal also has a dedicated group of faculty.

SDCH does not offer many placement opportunities but every year, the students who score the highest marks in BDS or MDS examinations are given a chance to join in the college hospital itself as doctors. But the opportunity is very limited in number. Also, SDHC offers Student Exchange Program. Uttaranchal Dental College provides job opportunities or internships to students through their various programs.

Both these colleges are considered to be the finest private dental colleges in India. Both the colleges are approved by the Dental Council of India. There is very little disparity between the two colleges because the courses offered by them are the same, the basic infrastructure provided by the college is the same and the ultimate degree the student will be getting is the same.

Subharti Dental College and Hospital has a well-equipped library, various national and international journals are available in the college. Lecture halls are situated on every floor of the dental college. The lecture halls are equipped with LCD projectors, multimedia systems, and slide projectors. The college has a dental museum for teaching dental subjects.
