Based on what I heard from my friends at both colleges, I will say go for TAPMI.

According to my friends at SIBM Bangalore, the placement reports are sometimes inflated. The placement record of the institute is also not quite satisfactory.
Whereas, the placement report published by TAPMI is 100% authentic. My friends from the institute vouched regarding this.
In comparison with SIBM Bangalore, TAPMI has better placement, better student life, better campus, and facilities to offer. TAPMI is also an older institute.
Going by the various rankings, TAPMI is among the best management institutes in India. It comes second in Karnataka after IIM Bangalore.
