On campus, you will find that everyone has different priorities, whether it be co-curricular, extra-curricular or working out. People's priorities change depending on the day or month.

6 am: First runners wake up and hit the road for various reasons such as placement selections.
8 am: Students with 9 am classes wake up for breakfast.
10-11 am: Remaining students start waking up and slowly head to classes.
11 am-9:15 pm: Classes take place with some free periods for various activities such as catching up on sleep, studying, completing assignments, or working on live projects with industry or society clients.
Health enthusiasts hit the gym while athletes head to their respective courts, and some may find time for other activities or outings with the help of the XLRI discount.
10 pm: Meetings take place for project groups, committees, and clubs to discuss academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities.
11:59 pm: Deadline for all academic and placement-related submissions.
12 am: People engage in various activities from assignments, academics, to parties, and athletic practice begins.
2 am: Morning runners go to sleep.
4 am: Most students go to sleep, but some night owls stay awake.
6 am: The cycle repeats itself

A typical day at the college will vary for each term. The first four months are extremely hectic and everything will be quite haphazard. Work according to the deadlines given for each test and assignment submission. You might get less than 4 hours of sleep but it will all pay off in the future.

With your courses and studies, you will also be able to pursue your interests as there is enough time to manage everything.
If you are a social animal, no matter which term or day it is, there is always time to party and enjoy yourself with friends, batchmates, and seniors.
Every term, there is one faculty member who will surprise you with their wits and sarcasm.
Some of the classes are so good that you will open your mind to new ideas while others might not be like this.
If you are planning to explore the area outside campus, you will get XLRI discount almost everywhere. Moreover, getting to wear that XLRI T-shirt and walking around will give you a sense of pride as many people know who you are and value that.

You will have a great experience at the college despite a few bumps here and there but it is all worth it in the end. You will see that everyone in college has different priorities and get their work done accordingly. There will be a lot of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities available for you to choose from. You will truly have some of the best days of your life here.
