What is your review of Amrita University?

The scenic beauty of Amrita University is unmatchable. The climate is just astonishing. The library is huge. Students can also find various rare books here. You will also find a great set of peers. Ragging is very rare and the repercussions are extremely serious.

Below given are some cons of Amrita University:

• The curriculum in the first year is not good, in the first semester. There is not one core subject for students of CSE.
• The faculty of the university is not very good either. 
• There is 75% compulsory attendance. You will have a constant feeling that your time is getting wasted in the class.
• The free Wi-Fi speed is never more than 70 KBPS. You can find LAN cables in labs and libraries and the speed is good but many educational websites are blocked by the admin.
• The hostel is good but the laundry is worse. There is a quick smart wash service that promises to return your clothes in 2 days, which is a complete farce. They give the clothes back in no less than a week and they charge around Rs. 200 per wash.
• Food is bad and the canteen is not any better. It's not worth the money after the implementation of GST they simply raised the cost arbitrarily. 
• The college clubs aren't good, at least the technology ones. There is a very good Foss club on the Amrita campus.

Overall it is the personal preference if the student wants to join it or not.
