Studied at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar ( NITJ ) (Graduated in 2021)

NIT Kurukshetra or PEC Chandigarh are the best options for you. You can certainly cross NIT Jalandhar off your list.

The practical labs at NITJ are not well-equipped, and the majority of the equipment is broken. The faculty, on the other hand, is excellent. You should not make NITJ your top priority.

B.Tech Mechanical, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra (2017)

All the mentioned colleges have an excellent brand name in north India. Even the opportunities that these colleges provide are similar.

Winning Institute - NIT Kurukshetra:

NIT Kurukshetra has a slight edge over the other two institutes. The below-mentioned points will justify the reason for choosing it.

The placements of NIT Kurukshetra are lofty.

No. of Eligible Students

640

No. of Students Placed

423

Average Package (CTC)

INR 10.91 LPA

Median Package (CTC)

INR 8 LPA

Highest Package (CTC)

INR 43.31 LPA

  • The ECE, CSE, and IT branch students recorded the highest placement.
  • The top recruiter is Amazon, Goldman Sachs, EXL, Microsoft, Havells, Coca-Cola, IOCL, Futures Fest, Ford, Paytm, Pepsi, Honda, BPCL, Flipkart, Airtel, Hero, Mahindra, etc.
  • The Mechanical department of NITK has some of the best professors in the whole college.
  • The students are competitive. Most of the students crack competitive exams like ESE, GATE, CAT, and others through self-preparation.

These are a few perks for choosing NIT Kurukshetra. Although even if you join the other two institutes, it will be a decent choice.
