The IMT Ghaziabad interview process includes three rounds: CT, GE, and PI. In the CT round, candidates are given a topic and 20 minutes to write five points either supporting or opposing the topic. In the GE round, candidates are given a case study about a specific topic and 20 minutes to devise appropriate solutions and present them to the panelists on a chart paper. In the PI round, a panel of two faculty members will ask the candidate questions, which may include questions about their background, academic record, current affairs, and hobbies.

It is important to be well-versed in your subject, have a good understanding of current events, and be able to speak knowledgeably about your hobbies during the PI round. Additionally, it is important to be honest and truthful about your background and experiences during the interview process.

The IMT Ghaziabad interview is not tough if you are well prepared for your answers, and know what you are speaking. Mostly all the questions asked from your provided profile and basic general knowledge.

The entire interview process of IMT Ghaziabad is divided into 3 phases:

  1. Critical Thinking: Here they will take your written assessment test.
  2. Group Exercise: Here, students were allotted a group of 10 and gave you exercise, to test their group work.
  3. Personal Interview: Here you will be called for a face to face interview with the management.

Critical Thinking:

  • The critical thinking topic will be given whose time limit is 30 minutes, and the word limit is 300.
  • In this section, time flies fast, keep that in a note. Write thoughtfully, but fast.

Group Exercise: The time limit for this section is 30 minutes. The group of 10 people will be asked to develop a mobile app. Resources such as chart papers, sketch pens, scissors and other things are provided.

Personal Interview:

  • You will have 15 minutes of time, which ranges between 12-18 minutes. The panel has two panellists.
  • The first question that probably comes from their side is from your CV and the objective you have stated. The following questions can be related to your performance in group exercise. The panellists can ask you to rate yourself in the group work, so be prepared to give a diplomatic answer.
  • Most of the questions will be related to your profile and why you want to join this course instead of that. Common affairs related to the market and subjects can also be asked.
  • Apart from personal questions some common questions related to capital reserve, capital employed, turnover ratio, can also be asked.

These questions might give you an idea about the interview questions. Though every individual has a different experience, yours will also be different. You could learn about some basic tactics and presenting yourself, other than that someone’s interview experience will only give you the basic idea.
