The fee structure of IIEST Shibpur has undergone a lot of changes over the years. The institute is a national importance institute and its fees are at par with NITs. If there is any change in these groups of institutes, there will be an impact on overall standards.

The tables below state the details of fees to be paid for Day Scholar and Hostellers (B.Tech and B.Arch) at the time of admission.

If you are not opting for Hostel during your admission process, then you will be charged refundable caution money of Rs. 4,000. However, if you have opted for a hostel, then there will be a refundable caution money deposit of Rs. 4,000 and mess advance of Rs. 17,500, which is adjustable to the actual food bill.
