Pursuing MBBS from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, (2019)

The third year of MBBS relatively consists of lesser syllabus compared to other professional years. This implies that you will have ample amount of time to revise the previous year’s syllabus. It is quite early to start preparing from third year but it will act as an added advantage. Though, the focus should be kept completely over the long term.

There are few things which must be looked upon by a third year student –

  • You should read all the standard textbooks of the three subjects.
  • You must try to solve MCQs of all the three subjects.
  • You can utilise the free time by revising the subjects in which you feel are weak, in the first and second year.
  • You will gain basic knowledge of the subjects in final year and can even complete 20 – 30% of the final year syllabus to have ample amount of time to revise it in the final year.
  • You should focus on scoring at least 50% marks in the professional exam.

Apart from these, you can also opt for a coaching institute to get a professional coaching for AIIMS PG exams. The third year of MBBS is considered to be the best time to enrol in a coaching institute. You can opt for some of the good coaching institutes like DAMS, DMCI, etc. and make daily classroom notes out of it.
